Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May
Charity challenges to raise awareness about prostate cancer and raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Research Centre.

Take part in the Snowdon 500 Challenge climbing Mt. Snowdon (the highest mountain in England & Wales) or try the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge; a unique opportunity to climb 3 of the most iconic mountains in Wales.

First a swim in Llyn Padarn with mountains all around, then cycle through the Snowdonia National Park and finish with a run through an awesome slate quarry.

Snowdonia Charity Challenge

The Snowdonia Charity Challenge is a triathlon type of event, involving teams of 4 people cycling 40 miles, climbing Snowdon and canoeing around a lake course. All money raised goes to REGAIN, supporting men and women who have become severley paralysed following a sporting accident.

Dragon Boat Challenge on Llyn Padarn, in aid of St David's Hospice

This is an annual race: St David’s Hospice Dragon Boat Challenge that is held at Llyn Padarn, Llanberis (LL55 4TY). This is an exciting spectacle with teams racing 40ft long Hong Kong Dragon Boats on Padarn Lake.


Llangollen International Eistedfordd

Each July, thousands of musicians, singers, and dancers from around the world visit Llangollen to perform at this most colourful festivals with its unique Spirit of Peace and Goodwill.
