Directions by road

From the A55

Turn off at junction 11, sign posted for Bangor and Llanberis.

Turn left at the roundabout at the top of the slip road onto the A5 and immediately get into the right hand lane to then turn right at the next roundabout onto the B4366, signposted for Llanberis.

Follow this road for approx 3 miles and turn left at the roundabout onto the A4244 (which used to be called the B4366), signposted for Llanberis. Stay on this road, again for about 3 miles and turn left at the T-junction onto the A4086.The road is quite bendy so take care.

You will see Lake Padarn on your left. After a few bends you will pass a cluster of cottages on your right, and then the Lake View Hotel. Glyn Peris is just around the next bend to the right and the parking area is just past the house.

From the A5

At Capel Curig turn left off the A5 and onto the A4086. It is signposted for Caernarfon and Porthmadog. Follow this road for 4.5 miles, turning right at the Pen Y Gwryg Hotel to start climbing up into the spectacular Llanberis Pass and then to descend to the villages of Nant Peris and Pentre Castell. Once past Llanberis itself, passing Electric Mountain on your right and keeping the lake on your right, the road starts to climb and bend. Keep going past the Kent Centre (Glyn Padarn) on your right and we are a short distance further along on the left. The parking area is before the house on the left and is labelled "Residents Parking".

We have three off road parking bays (marked “Residents’ Parking”) but if these are full on arrival, you can park up on the wide pavement right in front of our house. (Our neighbour would very much appreciate it if you avoid parking in front of his house.)

We are ¾ of a mile from the High street, on the A4086 heading towards Caernarfon, between the Lake View Hotel and 'Pizza & Pint’ Gallt y Glyn Pub.

If your sat nav takes you into Glyn Padarn (the Kent Centre), turn around, turn right out of the entrance, back on to the A4086 and drive approx 500 feet up the hill and you will see us on the left hand side. The parking bays are just before the house.
